Geotourism of Namsan

      Namsan is one of the famous mountains in Seoul, Korea. So Nam San is called "The lung of Seoul." And it's also one of the famous attractions in Seoul, Korea. So there are so many visitors going-on every year. 

      But recently Namsan is suffering from the air pollution. Because so many tour buses are emitting air-pollution nitrogen oxides. And most of tour buses are diesel buses and this kinds of buses are one of the main factors to fine-dust problem. It can be really harmful for the nature of Namsan and people who are visiting at Namsan.

      So in this point, Geotourism is really needed. The possible effects of geotourism in Namsan include protecting the nature and making Namsan's image better. 

      One possible effect of geotourism in Namsan is protecting the nature. Namsan is a mountain itself. It is a nature literally. It's not an artifical attraction. So it needs to be protected. When it comes to the air pollution issue, If Namsan is protected well, then visitors can breathe cleaner air. Or not, visitors are disturbed by the exhaust from tour buses emitting bad gases while walking around at Namsan. In detail, the road where many buses emitting bad gases ride is really close to the trail where visitors or climbers walk. It is really direct exposure to that bad gases. So it can be really serious health issue.   

      Another possible effect of geotourism in Namsan is making Namsan's image better. If Namsan can get more famous for its cleaner air-environment, visitors are more likely to come to the Namsan more often than before. It can be the truly healing-place for people. People can breathe cleaner air with their family or friends while working out or walking around in the fresh air. They can feel the nature instead of frowning at the exhaust. This can make Namsan's image better.
